Carrie Bishop,owner/founder of River Rose Flower Company,  is a freelance floral designer, workshop teacher, and a supporter of local flower farms. After working many years as a florist and an event coordinator, Carrie wanted to find a way to help share her professional floral design knowledge. Her goal is to make floral arranging: accessible, fun, and affordable for everyone. A few examples of her DIY floral design workshop topics are: how to turn a grocery store bouquet into a beautiful centerpiece using garden scraps, DIY wedding flowers, to DIY Christmas wreath using common evergreens.

Carrie and her husband Brandon live in Richmond, Virginia, where they raise their three kids.Their daughter was adopted from Bulgaria and her name means "River Rose". River Rose Flower Company is a creative outlet for Carrie to share her love of flowers in hopes to do good for her community and other communities around the world.  River Rose Flower Company donates a portion of its proceeds to support abandoned babies, orphans, and foster children through out the world. Carrie has started several sewing clubs that make weighted blanket kits to help the Richmond area and several orphanages Ukraine.  All of the profits from the earrings will help fund these foster care and orphan projects.
